PoshX from the Klitty Crew

PoshX comes from a family whose story crosses oceans. Her father is a proud harbour cat from Havana, and her mother was a temple cat in Vietnam. They met in London at a cat gala—an unlikely encounter that became the beginning of a shared life.

After her parents moved to Berlin, PoshX attended an American school and grew up in an international environment. Different languages, backgrounds and perspectives were part of everyday life. She loved the freedom of that upbringing: the space to ask questions, explore ideas and decide for herself who she wanted to become.

From Mode 2 to the wall

Early on, she discovered the work of Mode 2, which became a powerful influence on her creative development. PoshX began filling pages with sketches, observations and the things she wanted to say about the world around her.

For her, few things are more exciting than taking a thought—or a criticism—onto paper and then bringing it to life on a wall. Drawing gives her time to explore an idea. Painting a mural lets that idea enter a public conversation, where someone might stop, look and see things a little differently.

Monet, Turner and The Magic Flute

Her artistic interests reach well beyond street art. She particularly loves the paintings of Claude Monet, admiring the way colour, light and atmosphere can make a familiar scene feel entirely new. To PoshX, both Monet and J. M. W. Turner were far ahead of their time. Their willingness to move beyond precise description and paint something more elusive encourages her to trust her own eye and keep experimenting.

Music is another constant companion. Her playlist moves between Annie Lennox, David Bowie, The Cure and Depeche Mode—artists she returns to while sketching, travelling or taking a little time for herself. Her tastes also extend to opera. If she had to choose just one to listen to for the rest of her life, it would be Mozart’s The Magic Flute. Some favourites, she feels, keep revealing something new no matter how often you return to them.

Painting with the crew

She is deeply proud to be a member of the Klitty Crew. Working alongside other artists, painting large murals and developing projects together are among the things she loves most. She enjoys the exchange: someone suggesting a colour she would never have chosen, a sketch taking an unexpected direction, or a conversation revealing a better way forward. For PoshX, teamwork is a source of inspiration in its own right.

A nurse by day

Alongside her art, she works as a nurse. It pays the bills, but its value to her goes far beyond that. Helping people recover, supporting them through difficult moments and seeing them gradually regain their strength give her a profound sense of purpose. She finds something deeply rewarding in being able to make another person’s day more comfortable—and, over time, help them get back on their feet.

Sport is her great passion outside work and art. She loves being active and makes time for movement, even when life gets busy. Paying attention to what she eats matters to her, too. Looking after herself helps her sustain the energy she gives to her patients, her creative projects and the people she cares about.

A free spirit with many friends

When it comes to relationships, PoshX is a free spirit. She values independence and the room to let connections develop naturally. Her many friendships are an important part of her life, each bringing its own humour, perspective and shared experiences. She sees that variety as a richness to cherish.

With roots in Havana and Vietnam, an international upbringing in Berlin and a place in the Klitty Crew, PoshX feels at home among people with different stories. Whether she is caring for a patient, training or painting beside her crew, she brings curiosity, commitment and a willingness to contribute.
